SPIEF-2026: Uralchem’s CEO Speaks at the Russia — APEC Session

Dmitry Konyaev, the CEO of Uralchem JSC, took part in the Russia — APEC: Broad Cooperation Horizons up to 2035 session held as part of the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026). The event brought together representatives of key government and business structures from member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).

Discussions revolved around securing supply of Russian mineral fertilisers to APEC member states amid a global shortage and rising prices for certain fertiliser types. Dmitry Konyaev noted that Uralchem Group’s fertiliser shipments to APEC economies have more than doubled since 2022 to reach 6.5 million tonnes in 2025.

Dmitry Konyaev, CEO of Uralchem JSC:

Expanding cooperation with APEC economies is a strategically important direction for Uralchem Group. We are committed to supporting the stability of the agricultural sector across the entire Asia-Pacific region. As one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of mineral fertilisers, we are actively developing our own distribution networks in Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. When planning our deliveries to the Asia-Pacific region, we take into account the fertiliser affordability index to ensure that local farmers maintain healthy margins and that buying our products remains economically viable for them.
